Vegas Old School Dining at THE Steakhouse at Circus Circus
I think one of the best kept secrets for a great steak dinner in Las Vegas is at THE Steakhouse at Circus Circus Hotel/Casino. I have dined at most of the high-end steak houses in Las Vegas, however, I keep going back to The Steakhouse at Circus Circus as the food is fantastic at a very reasonable price. The Steakhouse was opened over 30 years ago and has won numerous awards. Many of the staff, including the Manager, Ron Randazzo, have worked there for over twenty years.
As you walk through the entrance, you are greeted by the aroma of steaks cooking, which will make your taste buds water as you wait for dinner. As you are shown to your table, you enter into the dining area after you pass by the glass-enclosed, meat locker where the beef is dry-aged for 21 days. The cooking area is in the middle of the restaurant allowing many of the tables to observe the chef’s grilling over the mesquite charcoal grill. The setting is perfect with dim lighting and vintage Las Vegas decor. This type of old-school atmosphere is a treasure and a place that should not be missed while visiting Las Vegas.
And who doesn’t love that their choice of potato and vegetable which is included with the price of the dinner! This is all served to you by top notch waiters that will most likely still be there the next time you come to visit. Our preferred waiter, Michael Champeaux, who is a huge Green Bay Packer Fan, makes our dining experience wonderful. I highly recommend THE Steakhouse at Circus Circus to anyone visiting Las Vegas.
